Q: What is activated Charcoal         

A: Activated Charcoal is pure carbon made from coconut shell.  

Q: How does it work?

A: Activated charcoal carries a net negative charge, so it attracts heavy metals and other toxins. It's tiny pores and immense surface area make it extremely adsorbent remove dangerous particles from your teeth and gums.

A: Absolutely no, our charcoal powder is 100% natural.

A: Shipping typically takes 3-5 business days.

Q: Does your product make the skin purge?

A: Yes, most of our products are made with active ingredients to help fight off acne, hyperpigmentation, and other skin issues. Active ingredients like Kojic Acid, Black Soap, Plantain, or any other AHA/BHA ingredients will have your skin purging.

Q: how long does skin purging last?

A: Skin purging can last anywhere between 4-12 weeks. 

Q: What to do when your skin purges?

A: Continue to use the product, so that your skin will get use to the ingredients, purging goes away on its own, do not pick.

Q. How do I know if I am purging or breaking out?

A. Purging are little random bumps that pop up and are usually under the skin trying to come to surface, as the ingredients are working it pushes the bacteria from the skins dermis and results in random pimple like "bumps". If these "bumps" just seem to just appear and are sitting there it is more than likely a purge and you just have to get through that stage. 

Breaking out will result in itchy, redness, irritation or burning to the skin. if you are experiencing any of these with our products we ask that you discontinue use immediately. 

Q: Can Teenagers use your products? 

A: Yes, our products are Teen friendly.

Q: Can kids use your products?

A: Not our regular products. However, we do have kid's deodorant that are safe and effective for children age 3 and up

Q: What's the difference between the Honey Bar Soap and The Original Kojic Acid Soap Bar?

A: The detox soaps are essentially the same and has the potential to give off the same results. The Honey Soap Bar has 3 active ingredients Glutathione, Alpha Arbutin, Kojic Acid (see Honey Soap Bar page for ingredients list) that specializes in helping reduce hyperpigmentation, dark spots, acne scars, acne, blemishes, and a plethora of skin issues. While the Original Kojic Acid Bar Soap (see Original Kojic Acid Soap page for ingredients list) has only two Papaya and Kojic Acid. 

Q: Does Kojic Acid bleach skin?

A: We use 1% of kojic acid ingredient in our products, which is not enough to bleach skin, but just enough to even the skin complexion and fade away most dark spots and hyperpigmented skin. Kojic Acid also helps fight the bacteria that cause acne, hormonal acne, and other skin issues.
